Over the years, I have combined university teaching with research and consultancy, producing peer-reviewed publications and contributing to policy discussions in these fields. My background as a lecturer has strengthened my skills in training, mentoring, and communication of complex ideas clearly to different audience. In consultancy and research assignments, I focus on practical analysis, project design, and monitoring and evaluation, to deliver results that are useful for decision-makers. I enjoy working in collaborative settings and remain calm under pressure, which allows me to meet deadlines and maintain quality. In this role, I teach undergraduate and masters students in research methodology, macroeconomics and Development economics planning and policy. Among other duties, I supervise undergraduate research projects, conduct research and source research funding for capacity and curriculum development.

 

    Standardized grading in the organization by marking students’ tests and examination scripts according to University regulations and policies. This improved the university's image and sustained a fair representation of students’ performance.

    Supervised students’ research projects. This enabled to equip graduates with well-grounded research practices/ knowledge, thus making them more competitive in the job market.

    Promoted organization marketability in communities by raising public awareness about the different programs offered at the university, therefore improving product visibility and a good University image.


    Produced monographs. This enabled better teaching of students since the books are tailored to suit the courses taught at the departments.

    Designed and reviewed the course curriculum for the Department of Economics and Statistics, which accelerated NCHE's recognition of university programs at the Department.
